The integrated multidisciplinary #OperationShanela II continues to squeeze crime space to zero for criminals in Boithuso Policing prencict, Mangaung Metro.
The #SAPS policing actions yielded positive results and led to the following recoveries and arrests;
● Mandrax tablets,
● Dagga packaged in transparent plastic bags,
● Rolled dagga zols,
● Crystal Meth,
● 40 litres of concoction and beer.
Between 14 May 2026 and 18 May 2026, Boithuso Crime Prevention together with other Operation Shanela II roleplayers embarked on a weekend long operation with the purpose of eradicating crime within different communities to ensure safety of all people of South Africa as stipulated in the Constitution.
Three shebeens or illegal outlets were closed down, and three traders charged. Six suspects were arrested and will appear in Botshabelo Magistrate’s Court soon. #FightingCrime
