Just after 10:00 the Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit received a call for a serious motor vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles on Solomon Mahlangu Drive in the Wapadrand area of Pretoria east. On arrival we found that the passenger of one of the vehicles sustained serious injuries. The patient was stabilized on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital under Advanced Life Support (ALS) care. One other patient was assessed on scene but did not want to go to hospital.
TMPD was on scene to conduct the investigation.
