Just after 11:00 the Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit received a call for two patients who were found suspected to be deceased in the Koedoespoort area of Pretoria east.
On arrival we found that two patients succumbed to suspected carbon monoxide poisoning after making a fire inside a residence without sufficient ventilation. The patients were declared as deceased on arrival. The scene was handed over to SAPS for investigation.
We send our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
