After receiving an urgent email from a community member in the village of Elaleni near Alice,Eastern Cape, requesting immediate assistance with water, Gift of the Givers team sprang into action.
The community had been deprived of water for over three months, and their need was dire.
The team responded by providing much-needed water to the community. People from the village gathered in great numbers, equipped with buckets, big blue drums, and 5L containers to collect the water.
