TMPD Cable Theft Unit conducted an operation in Pretoria East on 16 March 2026. During the operation, members arrested 2 Malawians on multiple charges, including tampering with municipal essential infrastructure and alleged bribery.
TMPD urges the community to report any incidents of theft or tampering with municipal infrastructure. The arrested suspects were detained at a local police station.
