Reaction Officers are currently (Thursday, 14/05/2026, 16:06) searching for a suspect linked to the theft of multiple copper pipes from a property on Litchie Crescent in Brindhaven – KZN.
A resident contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre after noticing a man fleeing from her property through a hole in the boundary fence (picture 3). The caller was unable to confirm if additional suspects were still on the premises.
Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and conducted a search of the property on arrival. Officers established that multiple copper pipes had been stolen. The suspect was described as wearing a black cap, black jacket and black pants.
The suspect is believed to be a drug user and the stolen copper pipes are most likely to be sold at a scrapyard.
