A successful intelligence-driven operation conducted in Phoenix resulted in the arrest of a suspected heroin dealer operating within the Phoenix Plaza area.
The suspect was intercepted on Greenbury Drive while allegedly transporting narcotics. Approximately 660 heroin capsules with an estimated street value of R19 800 were seized during the operation. A white Hyundai i10, valued at approximately R80 000, was also seized as it was allegedly used in the commission of the crime.
The suspect was arrested for:
