Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the N2 by Murchison in KZN this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a minibus and heavy goods vehicle were involved in a side-impact collision, resulting in seven people sustaining injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
The injured people were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject to a police investigation.
