Supt Morison and Patrol Dog Hercules successfully followed a spoor that led to the arrest of three male suspects linked to the theft of municipal copper.
The suspects were charged under Section 36 – Possession of Suspected Stolen Property after officers recovered 8.3 kg of suspected stolen copper.
The recovery of stolen municipal infrastructure helps prevent service disruptions and protects public assets. DMPS remains committed to combating infrastructure-related crime and bringing offenders to justice.
