A half-metre monitor lizard was safely captured at a high school in Tongaat – KZN earlier today (Tuesday).
The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Tongaat Operations Centre received a call for assistance after the reptile was spotted near the school’s administration offices. A Reaction Officer was immediately dispatched to the scene.
On arrival, the Officer successfully located and captured the monitor lizard without incident.
