Thabong SAPS Station Commander Brigadier Envor Solomon welcomed three new Isuzu pickups (bakkies) to the Thabong station fleet of vehicles. Two of the vehicles will be deployed to the Visible Policing operations under the Community Service Centre (CSC), and the other will be utilized by the Crime Room for investigations.
The handover was conducted on Monday, 24 November 2025, alongside the Thabong Community Police Forum Chairperson, Mr Ntsane Tsoaela, and the CPF Public Relations Officer (PRO) Mr Maboea Hanyane. The CPF chairperson marked this as a step forward in crime combating efforts. Lieutenant Colonel Simon Ceba and Captain Stephen Gulling received the two vehicles allocated to Thabong CSC. Lieutenant Colonel Matshediso Rulufu received one vehicle on behalf of Thabong Crime Room.
Brigadier Solomon expressed his appreciation for the additional resources. He stated that these vehicles will be crucial in the improvement of service delivery and crime prevention efforts going into the festive season and beyond. The allocation of these resources is expected to intensify the police response to situations. It will further enhance police visibility to ensure safer communities for all. #ServingOurCommunities
