A Rapid Response from KZNVIP Tactical Units resulted in the swift recovery of a hijacked vehicle shortly after the incident was reported, early this morning, 1 December 2025.
KZNVIP Control Centre received reports of a hijacked vehicle, just after 09h05 AM. All available Tactical Units were immediately dispatched.
While en route, updated location details were received and units were rerouted accordingly.
Moments later, KZNVIP Tactical Units successfully located the vehicle, in Inanda. The vehicle was found idling with the keys inside.
KZNVIP Tactical units conducted a thorough search of the surrounding area and for possible suspects, however, no arrests were made.
The vehicle was handed over to SAPS for further investigations.
