A 31-year-old man was injured during an altercation at a tavern in Itheku Road in Waterloo – KZN today (Tuesday).
It is alleged that the victim was playing pool when an argument broke out with another male regarding R2 that was left on the pool table.
The verbal dispute escalated into a physical confrontation, during which the suspect broke a beer bottle and stabbed the victim once before fleeing the scene on foot. The suspect is known to the victim.
His whereabouts were unknown when Members of Reaction Unit South Africa arrived.
