At approximately 20:22 (Saturday), the Controller On Duty at the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre received a call from a member of the public reporting that a 40-year-old
Traditional Healer had been found deceased inside his room in Mhlasini – KZN.
Reaction Officers responded to the scene and made contact with neighbours. They reported hearing a gunshot yesterday afternoon (Friday). This afternoon, after noticing that the man had not exited his room, they conducted a wellness check and discovered him deceased. The man sustained a gunshot wound to the side of his neck. A revolver was found in his hand.
The circumstances surrounding the death have not yet been established.
