#JMPD K9 received information about a VW Polo Vivo that was sought for Fraud, as per a Klerksdorp SAPS case. The vehicle was spotted at Jan Smuts Avenue & Lancaster road in Randburg. The officers approached the driver, who claimed that he is renting the vehicle from a female in Soweto, Pimville & using it as an Uber.
Upon arrival at the premises in Soweto, they found the female. She was questioned about the vehicle. She indicated that she bought the vehicle from a certain dealership. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the female bought that vehicle & another vehicle fraudulently. She was arrested for Fraud & detained at Kliptown SAPS.
Lawlessness will not be tolerated.
