The Gauteng Traffic Wardens STT received a tip-off from the Lufheng community in Soweto regarding a suspected vehicle stripping site. The information indicated that two burnt vehicle shells, believed to be stolen, had been abandoned in the bushes near Flower Road.
Officers proceeded to the identified area, where both vehicle shells were recovered. One of the vehicles contained documents belonging to the owner who was located in Mogale City, Krugersdorp.
Both recovered vehicles were subsequently booked at Lenasia VSS for safekeeping and further investigation.
