Mi7 Armed Response teams successfully apprehended a suspect allegedly linked to the theft of copper cables in the Lincoln Meade area during proactive patrols late yesterday evening.
While conducting patrols, Reaction Officers noticed a suspicious individual carrying copper cables. The suspect was approached and questioned, but provided conflicting explanations regarding the origin of the cables.
During further investigation, it was established that he and an accomplice had allegedly cut and stole the cables from a property in the area. The second suspect fled prior.
The matter was handed over to the police for further investigation.
