A 34-year-old Nigerian national was arrested for dealing in drugs in Balfour today, 26 May 2026, at approximately 12:00 midday.
Members of the Crime Prevention Unit received information about a foreign national allegedly selling drugs in a certain street in Balfour.
Police proceeded to the identified address and, upon arrival, found the suspect. Officers requested permission to search the premises. During the search of one of the bedrooms, police searched the bed and discovered drugs hidden underneath the mattress inside the bed base.
The following items were seized:
• 300 Mandrax tablets
• One bag of Crystal Meth
The suspect was subsequently arrested and is expected to appear in the Balfour Magistrate’s Court on 27 May 2026.
