Another drug bust – netting just under R400 000 in contraband – has unfolded in Phoenix this evening.
The SAPS Economic Infrastructure Task Team and SAPS Provincial Drug and Firearm Unit, assisted by Excellerate K9, executed a search warrant in Unit 2.
They arrested one suspect and seized Mandrax tablets worth almost R20 000.
An extensive search of the surrounding flats then turned up rock cocaine, Ecstasy tablets, cocaine powder, crushed Mandrax, and several rounds of ammunition.
