This morning at 06:30, the Titanium Securitas Control Center received a panic signal from a grocery store in La Belle Road, Stikland.
The Titanium Securitas Armed Response Team was immediately dispatched. Upon arrival, staff informed the Titanium Securitas AR members that a shoplifting incident had occurred and that the store manager was pursuing the suspects.
The Titanium Securitas AR members proceeded in the direction provided and met the store manager along Strand Road, where he supplied them with descriptions of the suspects.
The suspects were later identified by Titanium Securitas AR members while walking near Bellville Technical High School in College Road, Labiance. The Titanium Securitas AR members immediately apprehended them.
The store manager positively identified the suspects as those involved in the shoplifting incident. The stolen goods were recovered, and a knife was also found in the suspects possession.
SAPS was contacted and arrived shortly afterwards. The suspects were handed over and successfully arrested.
