SAPS pilots and #SearchandRescue teams, working alongside the #SANDF and other emergency services, have been deployed to assist with the rescue of residents stranded by severe flooding in parts of Limpopo.
These operations are ongoing as the situation remains dangerous and unpredictable.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has visited the flood stricken areas, to assess the extent of the damage and the impact on affected communities.
Law enforcement agencies and disaster management teams remain fully operational and are on high alert, to ensure coordinated rescue efforts, public safety and the protection of affected areas.
Members of the public are urged to cooperate with law enforcement and disaster management teams on the ground as efforts continue to save lives and secure affected communities.
