Patient airlifted after suffering life-threatening medical emergency.
Midlands EMS Howick rescue medics, along with Midlands EMS Howick crews, were dispatched to a medical emergency in Howick.
On arrival, it was found that the patient was suffering from a life-threatening medical emergency and required specialized medical care.
A decision was made to call in the assistance of the Netcare 911 aeromedical helicopter.
Once stabilized, the patient was airlifted to a specialist hospital for further care.
