Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS) SOC Ltd will commemorate Nelson Mandela Day by launching the Shova Ufunde Bicycle Campaign, titled “Ride to Education.” As part of this initiative, 80 bicycles will be provided to learners from a rural school in Botshabelo, Free State.
This effort is a key component of ATNS’ Corporate Social Investment programme that is aimed at tackling one of the significant barriers to education for students in remote, rural areas – the long and often challenging journeys they must undertake to reach their schools.
The initiative coincides with ATNS’ 33rd anniversary, which the organisation chose to commemorate by investing in learners rather than having a traditional corporate celebration.
