The Police in Mokwakwaila under Mopani District have arrested three suspects aged between 19 and 46 for possession of drugs during a well-coordinated operation conducted at Ramotshinyadi village on Friday, 25 April 2026.
The arrests were made possible following valuable information received from community members regarding alleged drug-related activities in the area.
The Provincial Commissioner of the Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe applauded the community of Ramotshinyadi for taking a strong stand against crime and working hand in hand with the police to root out drug-related criminal activities. She emphasised that drug abuse remains one of the major contributors to violence and other serious crimes within communities.
The three suspects are expected to appear before the Kgapane Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 28 April 2026.
