The paramedics from across the province have been busy, especially the paramedics from Madadeni and Newcastle bases, who this morning responded to an accident between two Mini busses, in the “Tegu” area of Madadeni near Newcastle in northern KZN.
The accident which happened just before 7am this morning resulted in 20 people sustaining injuries, which ranged from serious to minor. The patients were stabilized on scene before being transported to Madadeni hospital for continued medical care.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
