A female passenger was injured after two vehicles were involved in a side impact accident at the Dooneside traffic lights this morning at around 11h00. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found a young female still seated in the rear seat of the car. After paramedics skillfully immobilized her on a trauma board , they transported the patient to a local hospital for the care that she required.
