Yesterday, 08 September 2015, police attached to Ravensmead SAPS followed up information and searched a house in Galoway Road, Connaught Estate where they found a U221 9mm semi-automatic rifle and tik.
The firearm and drugs were found in a baby bag in one of the rooms. Two female suspects, aged 43 and 29 years, were arrested and are expected to appear in Goodwood Magistrate Court on Thursday, 10 September 2015, on charges of possession of unlicensed firearm ammunition and drugs.
