On Sunday night at 23h30 Netcare 911 paramedics were called to a shooting incident at the SJ Smith hostel U Block in Swinton Road Mobeni. Exact detail to the cause of the shooting and preceding events is still speculative and will form part of the South African Police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found a female to be in a critical condition while man sustained a serious wound. Medics stabilised the injured at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for the care that they required.
