- Never walk around alone and don’t talk to strangers.
- Be on the lookout for strange cars or people.
- If a stranger approaches you, keep your distance.
- Stand as far away from that person as possible.
- If a car approaches or follows you, run in the opposite direction that the car is travelling in.
- When someone grabs your backpack or jacket, get your arms free as quickly as possible and run as fast as you can.
- SCREAM. KICK and SCRATCH!!! Scream as loud as you can if someone grabs you. Use words such as “Stranger Danger”, “Kidnapping”, “Police”
