Yesterday Morning, 03 April 2025 Taurus Security Armed Response officer responded to a non-Taurus Security client on Townview Road, Glenhills for the reports of a suspect in the yard by Taurus Control Room
On Arrival to the premsis , the Armed Response officer was informed that 1 suspect had entered the yard and was confronted by the home owner, A confrontation occurred and the suspect took the home owners firearm
During the altercation, the home owner sustained injuries to his head , The Officer on scene requested Taurus EMS to respond to assist the home owner
The South African Police Services were on scene to investigate the incident further
The home owner was taken to a local private facility for further medical attention
It is advised that confrontations with criminals be avoid as much as possible for your safety, panic buttons and alarms systems should be a priority in every household
