UPINGTON – The ZFM District members are on a mission to remove drugs from the streets and have displayed their determination in the recent actions during Operation Shanela II activities between Thursday, 30 October 2025 and 03 November 2025.
The members of the ZFM District Task Team acted swiftly following a tip-off about a male person allegedly dealing in dagga.
They discovered Hydroponic Dagga to the estimated value of R360 00.00 during a search at his premises.
The 41-year-old man was arrested and is expected to appear in court soon.
On an unrelated incident recently, a man was arrested in Keimoes, found in possession of mandrax tablets worth R20,000 during routine patrols.
The District Commissioner of ZFM, Major General Sebili, deploys members to conduct duties that will yield expected results and is applying no tolerance approach to create a detour for criminality in the district.
