An employee of a general dealer was robbed of a packet containing coins on Mgabadeli Road in Waterloo – KZN today (Saturday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on the scene and met with the victim, a Somalian national. He reported that he was confronted by suspects travelling in a white Toyota Hilux bakkie (registration unknown).
One of the men was armed with a firearm. The suspects seized a packet containing an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene.
The victim was not injured during the incident.
