A white Volkswagen Polo Vivo sedan (2013 model), registration CT 76 MY ZN, was stolen during a hijacking in KwaDabeka – KZN, on Monday, 29 September 2025, at approximately 18:00.
According to the owner, the vehicle had half a tank of fuel at the time of the incident. The car can be identified by a dent on the driver’s side front door, black-and-silver VW sport rims, and a modified exhaust pipe.
The victim had arrived at KK Hostel on Uhuru Drive with his brother to pick up his brother’s girlfriend when four masked suspects approached the vehicle on foot. Two of the suspects were armed with firearms. The men forced the owner out of the car before fleeing in the vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
