The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Schoemansdal is appealing to members of the community to assist in locating a #missing person, Nothando Nkosi (31).
According to reports, Nothando Nkosi contacted her mother, Ms Nomsa Thusi, on 12 December 2025, during which she apologised for disappointing her and requested that her mother look after her children. She then abruptly ended the call.
Concerned, Ms Thusi sent her younger daughter to check on Nothando at her place of residence. Upon arrival, Nothando was nowhere to be found. Her cellphone was discovered ringing while connected to a charger.
The clothing Nothando was wearing at the time of her disappearance is unknown.
Anyone with information that may assist in locating Nothando Nkosi is urged to contact the Branch Commander, Detective Captain James Khoza, on 076 412 3745. Alternatively, information may be reported to #CrimeStop on 08600 10111 or submitted via the #MySAPSApp.
