Take note that there will be a march on Wednesday, 18 February 2026 by Freedom in South Africa.
Purpose: They want the President intervention in issues regarding Military Veterans and South African Kingdoms.
The marchers will gather from 10:00 at Madiba Street and Kgosi Mampuru Street.
The route of the march is as follows:
They will join Madiba Street and proceed until they reach the Union Buildings.
The following streets will be affected:
- Lillian Ngoyi Street
- Sophie de Bruyn Street
- Bosman Street
- Kgosi Mampuru Street
- Paul Kruger Street
- Sisulu Street
- Du Toit Street
- Nelson Mandela Drive
- Steve Biko Street
- Hamilton Street
- Government Street
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes such as:
- Eskia Mphahlele Drive
- Struben Street
- Johannes Ramokhoase Street
- Park Street
- Eastwood Street
They are expected to disperse from The Union Buildings at 14:30.
Tshwane Metro Police Department and South African Police Service officers will be deployed to monitor the march and all affected streets.
