Just before 06:00 the Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit received a call for a head-on collision on Garsfontein Road close to Woodlands Mall in the Pretorius Park area of Pretoria East.
On arrival we found 2 patients 1 sustaining minor injuries to their chest and 1 sustaining serious injuries to their arm and legs. Both patients were stabilized on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital, 1 by family in a private vehicle and 1 by a private ambulance under Advanced Life Support care.
TMPD was on scene to investigate the accident.
