An integrated operation involving members of SAPS Crime Intelligence, Gauteng Traffic Wardens STT (NC), TSHENOLO P.I, TMPD TRT and Bidvest Intelligence led to the recovery of a stolen mobile diesel generator in Mamelodi East.
Members received information regarding a vehicle-mounted mobile diesel generator that had been stolen from a cellphone tower site in Mamelodi East Extension 6. The generator belongs to Vodacom Telecommunications.
Acting on the information received, the team traced the stolen equipment to a residence in Mamelodi East, where the mobile diesel generator was recovered.
