At 12h51 on Wednesday afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a call for a bakkie that crashed along Higginson Highway near Umhlatuzana in Chatsworth. Exact detail to the cause of the crash and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that bystanders were trying to pull the patient from his vehicle. After medics examined the patient they found that he had tragically died due to the extensive injuries that he sustained.
