Police are appealing to the public to assist in locating a 61-year-old man, Sithembele Sonqishe who went missing on 29 June 2025.
According to the reports, he was last seen at Heckel Village, Bholo area outside Stutterheim on the above mentioned date at about 19:00. He has since disappeared. Preliminary investigation was conducted with no success.
He is light in complexion with bald hair and has a visible scar on his forehead. By the time of his disappearance he was wearing a green rain top, black beanie and navy trousers. He is reportedly mentally challenged but not aggressive.
Police are requesting anyone who can shed light on his disappearance to contact Detective Warrant Officer Siphokazi Peter of Bholo SAPS on 082 529 3600 and or alternatively report to the nearby Police Station.
