POLOKWANE: Following a joint intelligence-driven operation conducted by the Police in Limpopo on Tuesday, 28 October 2025, the information has led to the arrest of a 25-year-old female suspect for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition at Musina policing area.
The operation, which commenced at about 19:00, was executed by members of Musina Visible Policing (Crime Prevention), and Musina Detectives. The team focused on information regarding a suspect allegedly in possession of an unlicensed firearm.
During the operation, the team recovered one black 9mm pistol without a serial number, one magazine, and five (05) ammunition. The firearm was found hidden inside a rental room at Musina Phase 08.
The suspect, a female aged 25, was immediately arrested and charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Musina Magistrate’s Court soon.
Police investigations are continuing.
