At approximately 19:33 on Thursday evening, KZNVIP Control Centre received multiple reports of a hijacking incident on Briardale Drive in the Newlands West Area.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim who reported that while arriving home, he was allegedly followed by a white Volkswagen Polo with four male occupants.
The victim stated that after stopping outside his residence, two male suspects exited the vehicle, produced firearms, and demanded his car keys and other valuables, The suspects thereafter fled the scene with the victims vehicle
No injuries were reported during the incident.

Members of the South African Police Service were on scene for further investigation.
