Members of Empire Protection Service responded to multiple reports and requests for assistance from members of the public after the store was disrupted by a group identifying themselves as LLE (Labour Law Enforcement).
Upon arrival, Members of the South African Police Service and Private Security Industry engaged with representatives from management, staff, and the LLE group. Through a calm and professional approach, the situation was successfully de-escalated, allowing all parties to enter constructive decision making.
At this stage, representatives of LLE, store management, and staff are engaged in negotiations.
The situation is under control, and the store is expected to reopen shortly.
Empire Protection Service extends its appreciation to all stakeholders for their cooperation and commitment to resolving the matter peacefully.
