Four (4) armed suspects robbed a tuck shop on Oakford Road in Oakford – KZN today (Saturday, 25/07/2026).
The Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Operations Centre received a call for assistance following the robbery. On arrival, Reaction Officers established that the shop assistant of Ethiopian nationality, opened a side door to receive a delivery when four (4) armed suspects forced their way into the business.
According to the assistant, the suspects robbed the tuck shop of approximately R7,000 in cash, an undisclosed amount of coins, three (3) cellular phones (two (2) Samsung devices and one (1) Honor handset), and an undisclosed amount of airtime vouchers. No injuries were reported during the incident.
The suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. The make and model could not be confirmed.
