KZN VIP Emergency Teams responded to an armed robbery incident in the Grove End area of Phoenix on Sunday morning, during which a female sustained serious injuries. It is alleged that the victim was walking along Grove End Drive when she was confronted by a male suspect who demanded her valuables.
During the incident, the victim was stabbed in the neck with a screwdriver by the suspect.
KZN VIP Security officers swiftly apprehended the suspect at the scene. KZN VIP Medics provided immediate medical care to the victim before she was transported to a nearby medical facility for further treatment.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) responded promptly and took the suspect into custody for further investigation.
