At approximately 15:30, Pretoria Volunteer Emergency Services (PVES) responded to a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Codonia Avenue and Karriboom. The collision involved two vehicles, one of which was a government vehicle.
One patient sustained injuries as a result of the collision. PVES medics arrived promptly and provided on-scene medical assessment and treatment.
The patient was transported in a stable condition by ProMed to the nearest medical facility for further evaluation and yreatment.

The scene was handed over to the Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD), who remained on scene to manage traffic control and further incident proceedings.
