In the early hours of Friday morning, our Centurion crew responded to a shooting incident at a residential home on a smallholding in Laezonia. Upon arrival, crews found that a 12-year-old girl had sustained three gunshot wounds to her legs during an alleged home invasion.
Our medical personnel stabilised the patient on scene before she was transported to a nearby hospital in a stable condition.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not clear at this time, and an investigation has been opened by the South African Police Service.
