We kindly request the public’s assistance in identifying the owner or driver of the Toyota Quantum taxi (pictured above) involved in a collision on Palmview Drive, Phoenix, earlier this morning.
According to reports, the Toyota Quantum was attempting to overtake oncoming traffic when it collided with a vehicle transporting a sick person. The taxi then fled the scene without stopping to render assistance.
We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information regarding the taxi or its owner to please contact KZNVIP at 031 502 3456. Metro Police who were stationed not too far from the incident were notified as well
Our thoughts are with the occupants of the vehicle that was struck, especially the individual who was unwell at the time of the accident. We wish them a swift and full recovery.
