Multiple people sustained minor to moderate injuries following a serious two-vehicle collision along the M25 Kwa Mashu Highway in the vicinity of Dube Village and Bester, on Wednesday morning.
Emergency services from KZN VIP together with multiple other emergency response teams arrived on scene to find several injured patients requiring medical attention. A rapid triage process was immediately initiated while additional medical resources were dispatched to assist.
All patients were stabilized and carefully assessed on scene before being transported to the relevant medical facilities for further medical treatment.
The exact circumstances leading up to the collision cannot be confirmed at this stage. All emergency services remained in attendance while the scene was being cleared.
