As part of the #SaferFestiveSeason operations in Eastern Cape, joint compliance inspections conducted at liquor outlets in KwaZakhele: Nelson Mandela Bay District on Sunday, 21 December 2025.
The operation, led by SAPS in partnership with Nelson Mandela Bay Metro Police, focused on verifying liquor licenses, preventing underage sales, and ensuring outlets comply with health and safety regulations.
Several outlets were commended for operating within the law.
Authorities urge all liquor traders to operate responsibly and remind the public to report illegal outlets. These operations will continue to ensure community safety throughout the festive period.
