An informal wood-and-iron dwelling was completely destroyed in a fire on Avocadopear Street in Waterloo – KZN during the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 04:52 to find the structure fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze shortly thereafter.
According to residents, the homeowner was not present when the fire began. The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this stage.
No injuries were reported.
